SAN DIEGO (AP) - Authorities say San Diego Chargers star linebacker Shawne Merriman has been arrested on suspicion of restraining and choking his partner, a real possibility TELEVISION star, as she tried to keep his Southern California property. North Park County Sheriff's Lt. H Steadman says 27-year-old Tila Tequila closed a arrest warrant early Sunday, getting Merriman with battery and false imprisonment. Tequila was taken fully to a hospital. Her situation wasn't instantly available. Merriman, 25, was taken in to custody by deputies who replied to a call at his house in Poway, north of Hillcrest. Tequila, whose true name is Tila Nguyen, is better known on her MTV relationship truth display, "A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila." Why can't they keep out of trouble?
