well the government is trying to tell Roman Catholics to against their beliefs which violates the constitution but this president
seems to think he is above it.

Except Mormons. And Muslims. And probably some others too.

I can't even parse this sentence. Anyone have an idea as to what he's trying to convey here?

the president feels he can tell RC's to go against their believes with the healthcare mandate.
if you need further explanation than that then you have your head shoved up your azz.

Perhaps I am not understanding...I have been married twice, both were done by the justice of the peace, no church was involved in either.

To this day, I am really perplexed about people having a problem with gay marriage. If 2 (or more) consenting adults want to get legally married, or legally cohabitate, then, fine, get a licence and do so...if your religion of choice will allow you to have a religious ceromony, that's fine, too.

Is that not how it is done at present? I wouldn't know for sure, no church was ever involved in any marriage ceromony of mine.

I am not religious, so for me the question is moot.

the states only have been involved with it since the 1800s.
Is Hammurabi's code far enough for you?

My issue was with your apparent problems using the English language, not your content, thanks for clarifying.

It doesnt. the argument digressed somewhat. It was an example of how the government is trying to dictate to a religious institution
on how and what to believe.

I'm sorry if you feel I've changed the meaning of words. Please let me know where I've done so and I will try to explain myself to you.

you dont have to explain yourself to me.
People like you who lose and argument tend to do this.
go back and look at your posts.

If two people choose to live in a situation where they surrender half their stuff, constantly sleep on the couch, never have sex, and spend 1/2 their life pretending to be happy? Why should I stop them?

Should Mormons and Muslims be allowed to have multiple wives, as their respective books dictate? Or is government interference in religion ok then?
