Default Where is Howard Camping now?
I used to listen to him (and his gibberish) on the radio everyday to work pre-5/21. Now they have a new guy covering that time slot. I heard he still broadcasts sometime in the afternoon but it never live anymore. What ever happened to the old man?

Depressed that he wasn't raptured, Howard Camping is now waiting for the end of the world.

He had a stroke a couple of months ago. I guess that's God's way of saying, "You may have bilked a lot of people out of their lifes' savings but you won't get to enjoy it."

Wow...just saw that after googling Howard Camping stroke. Some of the comments are just down right funny. I guess he will be predicting to the end of his days. I am a little surprised that the public eye defused on him so much post 5/21. At least we know where more of that $72,000,000 is going for advertising. October 21st here we come!

My personal favorite...

“I bet he didn't see that coming...” tweeted @Notorious_JIM.

I think you mean "Harold" Camping, not Howard.

Doomsday has definitely arrived, Rapture pastor says

OAKLAND, Calif. -- Doomsday has arrived -- for real, this time -- according to the pastor who incorrectly predicted that the world would end May 21.

The apocalypse will absolutely, positively occur Friday, Oct. 21, according to 90-year-old Harold Camping -- and this time, God will show no mercy.

"The whole world, with the exception of those who are presently saved (the elect) are under the judgment of God and will be annihilated together with the whole physical world on October 21, 2011," he wrote on his website, FamilyRadio.com.

Camping, who suffered a mild stroke last June shortly after his May Doomsday prediction failed to materialize, previously claimed that the world would end in 1994.
