Default May 21, 2011-Judgment Day & The Rapture
Before you conclude that May 21, 2011 is not true, carefully examine the following site in both written and audio:

Am I Crazy

Yeah it's not true. You know how many people have predicted the end of the world and have failed? Thousands. And they were all wrong. And they will always be wrong.

You'd figure Jesus saying that the end will come before the people he was speaking to would die, but then nothing happened would kind of clue you in on that he was kinda not telling the truth.

Yep - if I had a nickel for every one of these predictions - I'd be rich.

Each one is always specifically designed to scare you. It's ole fashion fear mongering at its worse. Shame on the fools that come up with this and sad for the folks that fall for it.

Yes, you're crazy. If you'd like to prove otherwise, I invite you to sign an agreement turning over all of your worldly assets including any future earnings to me as of 5/22/2011.

Put up or shut up.

By the way, am I the only one who thinks Paul Humber may be the creator of the linked site?

I don't think so, Kev. He wasn't much focused on the date of the rapture- just convinced that we'd all become creationists whenever that day came.

Man I'd kill for a good anti-evolution ot birther post right about now.

NO FreedomAtLast, you are NOT crazy.

The Bible VERY CLEARLY teaches that May 21, 2011 IS INDEED the Rapture of Gods' people and the start of the Day of Judgment.

God has, in His tremendous mercy, given this warning, and it has spread throughout the entire world, no nation has been excluded.

If you are doubtful, I suggest that you go to the Bible and look for yourself to see if it is so. Now is the time to plead with God for mercy, we have less than 10 months left!

I've read the entire Bible and not once does May 21, 2011 appear.

If you're so sincere in your faith, give me all of your money, goods, and items that will be left behind as you (since you're obviously going to get raptured) are brought to heaven. As an atheist I will certainly not be going anywhere on the 21st (except maybe to class) and might be able to use that stuff to fend for myself in the apocalypse/

$10 says freedomatlast and Mark1Tex are one and the same poster.

No, actually make that freedomatlast and Mark1Tex's worldly assets.

I don't believe this stuff either but still it scares me! Why do people do this?

I feel bad whenever these dates come up, and these people give away everything they own, then wait on a mountaintop for nothing to happen.

I don't get people that are focused on the (idea of the) next life more than this one.

Because they are searching for meaning in their lives and stumble upon this sort of stuff, get taken in, and buy it. It's a cultist behavior. Don't let it scare you, there's nothing behind it but backwards interpretations of dusty old tomes that aren't even true themselves.

Heck, how many of you would quit your jobs, blow all your money, max out your credit cards, buy fancy cars, boats, and motorcycles, go on wild vacations to exotic locations, and party 'til you drop if you knew for sure the world was going to end on this date?
