One article I read quoted Camping as saying he wasn't going to do the same media blitz as he did this time around. Now his story is that God has already decided who's going to be raptured so there's no point in trying to convert people any more. He also said people shouldn't sell their possessions. He's already covered himself for October 22.

People like this really make me wonder about ALL of the so-called prophets. Entire religions are based off the words of one person and people follow them word for word, absent of their own thoughts. Who's to say most of the prophets aren't schizophrenic or just liars like Camping. Really, in the grand scheme of things, this is a much more plausible, and simplistic scenario.

Say for instance, Moses and the ten commandments. Wasn't he the only one up on the mountain for 40 days. 40 days is plenty of time to carve up some stone tablets.

If I was God. I wouldn't have used stone that came from nearby. To me, It just isn't very convincing. Why not use some stone that isn't even present on Earth. God can do anything right?
