Vonnegut brushed aside such theological disagreements: “I am a humanist,” he said, “which means, in part, that I have tried to behave decently without expectations of rewards or punishment after I am dead.”

I like the idea of Humanism, but I'm definately not much of a "joiner."
Are you a affiliated with local Humanist groups and does it fulfill the practical aspects of religion for you? Community, networking, charity?
