Actually Francis did all the talking; the animals just listened.

I was in Assisi in 2001. They were still rebuilding. It is an amazingly spiritual place that even got to me, a born skeptic.

It's okay. I had twelve years, too. Eight of them at St. Francis of Assisi in Germantown.
