Default Midnight Mass?
Does anyone know of anyplace other than the Cathedral Basilica that celebrates midnight mass for Christmas? I think BVM does in the Northeast but I know there's not much music nor a concert, was hoping to hear a choir and carols.

St. John the Evangelist has a midnight mass. They're located on 13th street, just south of Market.

I don't know where you live. Check out any number of Episcopal Churches. They may have Mass at 10:30 or so. St Luke's in town, St. Martins in Chestnut Hill would be likely to have choir and carols. St. Timothy's in Roxborough has an ad in the local paper. They have gaslights, choir and carols at 10:15..

I know this is after the fact but, Our Lady of Lourdes in Over Brook Farms has had a solemn high midnight mass for the last two years with a very good turnout. I suspect they will do it again next year.
