If some of you remember a while back I posted my friends Beauceron puppy. Her family is on their second one and they kept pronouncing it "Boo-sir-on" and it was driving me nuts. I'd make a point to say it the proper way and they just looked at me funny. I admit, I've said names wrong in the past but since I've learned the correct pronounciation, I've corrected myself.

I pronounce it boh-sir-on. What is the correct way?

This happens to me a lot with people that own Cane Corsos, and they pronounce it like its spelled. Drives me nuts!
I gave up trying to say it the right way, people look at me like I'm a retard until I say Kane corso.

My favorite is Margeaux lol

I HATE when people can't spell their breed name. It's one thing to have never heard it pronounced correctly but PLEASE spell Chihuahua right.

So, enlighten us less informed. Am I at least pronouncing APBT right?

By the way, I got Snoqualmie, Kancamagus, and Okeechobee down. I may not be dog smart, but I got you beat in geography...
Yeah, but can you say "Puyallup"? LOL

There are a lot of words I can't pronounce correctly. Doesn't mean I shouldn't own something because of it.

Deutscher Schaferhund
Riesenschnauzer
Bernhardiner
Samoiedskaia Sabaka
Zwergspitz

But I love saying Chi-hua-hua on purpose

Funny you mention that! Even though my bus route (pronounced root, btw) goes there;

I always get the pronunciation between Puyallup and Tulalip mixed up!

And as I remember my time in Everett, most locals call the state they live in ... WaRshington

Know what drives me nuts? People who say "Corsos" instead of "Corsi."

A breeder friend of my breeds Samoyeds. She's always pronounced it;

Sam-oi-yed as opposed to how you usually hear, sam-oid. I don't know which one is right, but I say the prior because she pushes it on me.

Doxie's are probably the ones that bug me the most, why do you think some people call them "doxies"? Wouldn't it be "doshie's" for short if it was dash hound?
