If a dog was skunked a week ago, would it affect how another dog reacted to it?

I brought Freida to my parents house where she normally gets along with their Great Dane. She totally went after her. I can't think of anything different other than the Great Dane being skunked. Luckily my parents house is set up where we can keep them seperated w/o having to lock Freida in the bedroom the whole time.

Just wondering if the skunk might be the reason why... Or Freida just doesn't want to tolerate her anymore.
