My favorite dog trait is how my dog has a sixth sense. It is like he knows whenever I am sick and will sleep up on the bed with me. I cannot believe an animal can be so sensitive. I guess he could feel my misery. It is so cute.

My favourite thing about dogs is how they have a mind/personality of their own. Just like human beings my dogs behave/act a certain away when in the house compared to when they meet new people or they meet other canines.

I find it hilarious when you bring something new home or you are doing a certain activity that is new to them. They are so interested in what is going on and will watch you so intently that I wish they could speak to me to tell me exactly what they are thinking.

I'm not sure if this is true or not. But my girlfriend's friend recently had a baby. She has 3 dogs in the house and said that as soon as she fell pregnant the dogs stopped jumping up at her but carried on jumping up at everyone else.

I have to agree with Ich Bin Gia. One of my favourite things about my dogs is that if I am sick one day that will come and snuggle right up to me and act in ways that they normally won't. It is like they have this natural sense that knows when you are feeling down.

I like how she follows me around all the time. No matter where I go she always wants to be around me and loves snuggling up on the couch or in bed on a rainy afternoon. She sleeps so much so whenever we lay down for a nap or to go to sleep at night she gets so happy that she gets to snuggle up and sleep.

I love how my dog likes to cuddle. She is a black lab and jumps right up on my lap and makes herself at home. She is quite big for this, so I usually move her next to me.

I like how my dog is proctective, but not mean. She just watchfull around other people and setuations, and if things ever turn bad shes there ready to protect me. One time I was wondering in the pasture when this strange dog showed up, and she tackled the dog and wouldn't let it up until I passed. She also always seems to know when I am sad, and is ready to comfort me with cuddles.

I think it's that they're excited to see you no matter what. It doesn't matter if you've been gone for 5 minutes or 5 hours.... they're so happy when you come back in the door. And it doesn't matter if you were just in the other room or gone to another state. They always want you back.
