I wish that I was able to take my dogs out on walks more often. I work really early in the morning (5AM) and by the time I get home I'm too tired to do anything. Luckily, there is a huge lot in front of my house for my dogs to run around and play in or they'd be bored to death. When I do get a chance to take them out I usually take them to a nearby school to walk the track or I take them to the Sundial Bridge. I can't take them to the parks because none of them allow dogs there and the one that does is way too far from my house. My dogs are always happy to go out, probably because I don't do it everyday. They used to be scared of socializing but they have gotten a lot better.

We take our dog on lots of different routes! She seems to get bored of the same 1 quite easily though! She loves mixing with other dogs so we tend to take her somewhere where there's other dog walkers

We walk ours at a local park in the evening and my boyf walks around the block last thing at night. I think they do get bored sometimes so if you can find somewhere new or even go a different route or at a different time of day it might be worth mixing it up a little.

Default Where do you walk and how often do you change it
Just wondering how often / where you walk your dog and how often you change the route. My lab seems to be getting bored with the route we talk so trying to vary it up a little but theres not many green places where I live and we dont have a car. Do your dogs get bored? Jet just doesn't seem that excited about going out lately and im not sure what it could be. I try to take him out twice a day but we walk the same route and there are never any other dogs to play with.

I do 30 minutes in the morning just walking locally.
Then one hour in the evening usually to the beach or dunes which are not far.
On weekends she gets a longer walk usually a Sunday afternoon, the local dog club meets at a forest trail about 40 minute drive away and we go for a long - and often muddy - walk together.
Then once a week I also do 3 hours of agility training at a local riding school. Indoors in the winter... in the summer they often meet an extra night too outside if the stables is not using the field for anything.
It is a fairly set routine but she doesn't seem to mind.
