Default How vocal is your cat?
I have two cats, a Bengal and a Manx. Both are relatively quiet cats, although the Bengal does chirp and "chatter" sometimes if she wants us to play with her.

The Manx, however, is quiet and hardly ever meows--although she does have the loudest purr I've ever heard!

Are your cats noisy or quiet and contemplative?

The one is insanely vocal. She talks regularly and can get rather loud if she's upset about something. The other cat just purrs, though, and never meows at all. They're complete opposites in so many ways.

Kitten has now learnt that meowing wakes people up lol. And if you tell her off she meows (talks back!) lol

Our 3 cats all have different levels of vocal usage. One cat never makes a peep aside from purring, and another occasionally meows when he needs your attention, like to turn the faucet on for him to take a sip. Then there's our cat who loves to talk, and she especially loves to have conversations! She'll meow, and then you "meow" back at her, and she'll meow right back! It goes on for as long as you let it. I really love that, but I can't imagine how annoying it would sound to a visitor! Haha! I make sure to only talk to my cat in private.

My kitty rarely meows per se, but loves to purr. She purrs when you pet her or even if you look at her. She turns it on whenever she thinks you might be listening. I only think she has meowed several times and doesn't seem to need it to communicate. She chooses to use her purrs instead.
