I love all cats but as you might be able to see from my avatar - gingers are my favourite!
It was only recently that i was told that only male cats are ginger and only female cats are tortoiseshell but I'm not sure if that's always true or if it's just a generalisation. |

Black cats are my favourite but apparently black animals aren't very popular when it comes to shelters trying to rehouse them.
When I was at the rescue centre before looking for new cats to adopt, there was a torby (tortie tabby cross) kitten with really bizarre markings that made it look kind of ugly (as much as akitten can ever be ugly). I decided I would adopt her as I thought no-one else would want such a strange looking cat. It turned out that she'd been the most popular one that day! The ones who no-one wanted were the ginger ones and the black one which were in the next pen. |

Gorgeous!! When I first went to get a cat, I really wanted a siamese but my ex refused as the rescue place only had 3 which had to be rehomed together. Two were blind and they were all bordering on being feral.
I love bengal cats too, but they haven't had any at the rescue place I use and I won't buy a cat when so many are homeless. |

I love all cats. It's really hard to say, but I think black cats are the hardest to find homes for so I have a special love for them. I've had several tabbies throughout life and find them to have the funniest and most friendly mannerisms. I've seen so many pictures and videos of Bengal cats and would love to have one someday, but if able to take in more cats in the near future will stick to the cats that need homes the most. As much as I would like a Bengal, I don't see myself paying a fortune for one. I would rather spend that money on a kitty from a shelter or a stray or rescue place cat.

Romeo and Riff Waiting cropped.jpgRight now I am partial to grey...Have a grey tuxedo cat and one that is similar to a Russian Blue. I don't like calico or uneven spotted colors...I like Tuxedo markings on any color cat.
Here are my 2 "Greys" |
