I've got 6 cats, some of them were adopted at the same time as others but some came on their own (or the one they were adopted with has moved out). Generally they get on, one of them Hennessy doesn't really pay attention to the youngest one Kuski and kind of keeps herself to herself most of the time. Alize (my black and very clingy cat) tolerates the others generally, except for two of the other male cats who he attacks at every available opportunity but once they run off, he leaves them, he's too lazy to chase them!
Kuski likes to try to play fight with one of the other girls, but it doesn't go down too well but she seems to be growing out of that now thank goodness!!
At the moment, I have a coal fire going so they're all being peaceful and sleepy, lying in a big pile of fur together!

Mine really don't like each other to be honest, but they tolerate each other. I do have to feed them seperate because one will growl.

there's a definate pecking order, with the bengal cross at the top, but not because she's a bully, just because she has no concept of personal space. I'd say they tolerate eachother's existence, and they do seem to enjoy running about every now and then, but they'll never sit next to eachother if there's an option. One seems more attached to the dog than anyone else, always trying to get a wash via fitting in her mouth.

Default Do your cats get along?
If you have more than one cat do they get along, fight, ignore each other? Were they raised together?

They get along but they both sort of give each other dirty looks if one of them has something the other wants...like a box haha

I have two cats. One boy cat and an elderly girl cat. They cuddle up and play together so yes they do get along. They also fight like children and chase each other which scares me because the one cat is so old.

I got Riff when Romeo was 6 and he didn't act like it bothered him but he started getting sick and stressed so I separated them for 2 days with a door they could sniff each other under and touch paws. After I let the kitten out again, and from then on they have been pals. Romeo is 18 pounds and the alpha cat, but now that Riff is 2 he is 16 pounds also and is asserting himself very often lately and getting Romeo to be submissive when they wrestle around and play.

I had homer for about 17 years maybe 18. Or more!

We had a few kittens in the time we had him, he never really bothered with them. Never really paid attention to them to be honest.

I have five cats and some get on and others just tolerate each other. My grey who is humungous and a bully gets on with some and torments others. My smallest tabby and white doesn't tollerate any nonsense and will see even the bulley off. I think cats are very much like people, they all have their different personalities, some get on and others don't.

In the past, I've had cat get along just fine, but my current ones absolutely do not.

I'm assuming it's because one is really old and has been the only animal in the house for a long while, and we brought in a kitten. They mostly just keep their distance these days, but when we were first trying to transition, it was absolutely horrible. It was even worse when the kitten hit the age where she'd start going into heat....there were so many problems that it got scary someone would end up hurt.

she sometimes follows him in through the cat door too which is weird coz it's a microchip cat flap!
Oh that is so much like a couple of my cats that have moved in with a neighbour across the gardens. One of them headbutted her cat flap unti he broke it because it was a microchip one and he didn't like that he couldn't go into her house!?! Ouzo is the other cat who moved in there. When he lived with me, he was always snuggly with Hennessy. Once he moved in with the neighbour she bought a new cat flap, and Ouzo would lurk by it to 'hold it open' so that he could sneak his 'girlfriend; in to snuggle with him. The poor neighbour kept coming home to find Hennessy and Ouzo curled in a pile and coudln't work out how Hen was getting in, unti she caught them at it one day.

Think mine tend to tolerate each other rather than like each other. Pretty tends to look down her nose at the boys in a very disapproving way. Dylan and Drake sometimes play fight, usually because Drake has ambushed Dylan. Drake does play with his litter sister Maisie who now lives next door, she sometimes follows him in through the cat door too which is weird coz it's a microchip cat flap!

My two grew up together and are always sleeping together and washing each other, but they draw the line at sharing food.
