I'd like to train my cat to use the toilet. That would be quite entertaining...but I'm not quite sure how you'd do it???
There are toilet training kits. Here's one I found at random: http://www.citikitty.com/

I trained my cat to stay in our yard, but that's about it. Everything else she does because she want to . I don't really care much for tricks.

My cats have me very well trained! As for training them, only if it suits them.

My brother has trained his cats to beg and lick their paw whilst in begging position. I think if a cat is food driven and you spend time they can be trained. He also trained one to knock a pile of cardboard coasters onto the floor. I will try and get a video next time I am there
hahaha. That would sound cool!
my old cat would never have let you train him. He'd have just swiped you with his claws or bitten you.

I must confess I tried to teach mine some tricks but they weren't that impressed with the idea. They will come for about food and that's about it.

Default Do you train your cats
Obviously most people will train a cat to use a litter tray but just wondering if anyone trains their cats to do anything else, like tricks or anything like that? My friend has trained his cats to come when he rings a bell (For food) so he doesn't have to stand in the garden calling them. But then another friend said cats really aren't very trainable like dogs are.
