Some people are so ignorant!! They don't even know the breed and all they can do is criticize it. I'm on Youtube and this guy can say nothing, but I'll even quote him
"Yes, a herding dog may nip your heels when you run. It's a breed specific behavior. The pitbull's breed specific behavior is to grab, hold, and shake...basically dog fighting.Just because yours has not exhibited the behavior doesn't mean other pitbulls will not and it doesn't mean your pit will never exhibit the behavior. If you are having to constantly monitor your dog's behavior, what does that say about your dog?Pitbull breeders will tell you, "Never trust your pit will not fight". ''d like to point out the flaw in your pitbull "ending a fight". Normal dogs don't fight to the death, the pitbulls gameness was bred into them. Normal dogs use the least amount of aggression or violence to subdue another dog. Many times it's just displaying and nothing ever comes of it. For a pit, that's an invitation for a fight to the death. This video even shows what a danger pitbulls are, mauling their owners...Heck, Darla Napora's killed her and her unborn child. Wonder how she provked it" "First thing, yes, pitbulls were bred to hold and shake. I don't know of any other dog who happily hangs off a rope for 20 minutes while the pitbull owner calls it "exercise". Second, pitbulls were bred to be dog aggressive. Their primary job is dog fighting. It's why they were bred. If your pitbull loves other dogs, then many pitbull breeders will consider yours a cur. Good dog ownership involves picking the right breed, not taking a breed who's been bred to fight and making them a "pet"." I swear some people are idiots!! |
