When we first got Madison she had huge scars on her back and head. Seeing how we found her on the streets in a pretty shady part of town and the fact she was really underfed/dehydrated we just assumed she didn't have a pleasant life and left it at that. I figured whatever had happened to her must have been pretty messy to leave scars like she has until a cat got into our back yard. One of the neighbor's strays that she feeds fell off of our fence where it likes to sit and taunt the dogs and into the yard where all three of mine promptly cornered it and took turns growling and barking at it. The cat managed to swat each of them at one point but out of all of them Madison's was the least deep. We cleaned all three dogs up and even though the boys looked worse you can't even tell anything happened. Madison however has a nice sized scar on her face. So now I'm wondering, does any one else have dogs that scar up really easily? Also does any one else's dogs have scars like she does? Maybe someone could shed some light on some possibilities of how she got hers. Sorry if these end up gigantic. I have no idea how to make them smaller...
