I wish they would, since I'm usually on the receiving end of that. The soiling I can handle since it's usually followed with a bath but we've had some truly evil dogs come through. One little dog in particularly just starts snapping at the air like a piranha before she even sees anything on your hand, and I've lost track of owners who have told me they're afraid to handle their own dogs. Makes no sense.
