Default If only...
This is a thread of "if only..."

Mine?

If only a "Chill Pill" was an FDA certified, marketable dog supplement.

Baloo has recently learned a new "Uh oh.. she's angry" phrase, and that is "Just take a CHILL PILL!!"

Oh! or maybe it could even be like a patch! Like when we're gonna go to a field where I know there will be a million butterflies to chase, but I just want to take a sweet picture, I could slap it on his belly, and BAM! A normal, even tempered dog who doesn't scream at crickets when they jump at him.

Also, (off topic)

If only I had a soda fountain in my house. Specifically, by my couch. Could you imagine?? I would be so happy. Finals Week is taking it's caffeine toll.

My "If only..." would be...

If only there were dog sports during the week! I hate having to choose which to do, when there are multiple sports in one weekend

And my "off topic" one...

If only my hair would grow faster. I'm tired of my mid-pregnancy crisis short hair!

My hair has never really been a problem child... But do you use a really good shampoo and let your conditioner soak for several minutes? I used to dye my hair like NOBODY's business, and while my hair handled it like a champ... Using good products and letting my conditioner soak for awhile REALLY improved my hair!

I second this.

I can't really afford the super nice stuff, and I get tangly hair. But it helps a lot to just be patient and let it soak. Made a big difference with me.

If only my car's AC worked correctly, it's gonna be toasty today..

I was the same...up until probably close to two years ago I was dying my hair once a month...and my hair was **awesome** it was soft and shiny no knots (even when I bleached it) once I stopped processing it went to sh** and I cut most of it off =(
I use Dove the super therapy shampoo and conditioner (the max level lol) and it hasn't even helped! I think I'm just going to cut it all off today lol
Oh and I've let it soak...and left conditioner in my hair when I got out of the shower (which turned my hair into a greasy mess lol

Before you bathe, shampoo your hair and really scrub it in (like you're scratching an itch). This will clean the scalp and the hair very well. Only shampoo every other day unless you have very oily hair. Then condition. I let the conditioner set in the entire time Im bathing and rinse out right before I step out. I condition every single day. When you are done and out of the shower, there is a product called Bio-Silk. I would highly recommend getting that. Its an oil for your hair that makes it softer and smooth. Go a few days without blow-drying your hair so it can repair itself. After your hair is dry enough, like it would be if you were going to blow dry it, comb it through and through. Done and done.
I use Pantene, Tresemme, or Garnier.. Best for the price in my opinion. Good to mix it up every now and then.

Im guilty of frequent dyes and bleachings... buy the conditioner made for black women (I think its pantene for women of color). let that shit soak for like 5 minutes. I have some nappy ass hair but that shit WORKS!

We have the same shower routine! I always shampoo my hair first, every other day (I try, at least... sometimes I lose track so it ends up being shampooed 4 days in a row before I get back on track LOL), and let my conditioner soak the whole time I'm in the shower. I only use Garnier or TreSemme, because my hair loves those and hates everything else. I'm OCD about washing my hair... I scrub it and mush in the soap and take way too much time on it.. but it works! I don't put anything in my hair after a shower, or blow dry it.. I don't even brush it until it's dry (if I even do brush it... usually I'll just run my fingers through it).

And.. I'm glad I don't have roommates right now!

If only I cared about food as little as my dog does - I could have the same slender figure she does

If only I enjoyed exercise as much as my dog does - see above.
