I'm not sure how else to describe it, but Amy gets positively silly when it's cool outside. I noticed it last fall when the temperature dropped - she would be scampering about like crazy, straining to get a good look at people (tail wagging playfully), biting and thrashing sticks around, prancing and rolling in the grass, etc. It's like she reverts to being a puppy or something (she's about a year and a half). It's not bad - it's kind of funny but I do keep her away from people when she's in these moods because she might try to jump up (I can tell when she starts thinking about it).
Does anyone else have a dog that does this? |

3 of mine love to frolic in the yard and zoom around in the cold weather. They get positively retarded when there is snow on the ground and act like they have never been part of a civilized home. Ike, however, only likes the weather to be just right. Not hot, not cool, no snow and no rain or he just runs back into the house, lol.
