Hi guys, I haven't been on here in a while, but with summer popping up early this year the flea's and ticks have already started up. Sadly I was just about to order some Promeris online when I found out that it has been discontinued. I find it funny they discontinue a good thing, and Frontline never worked on my dog... I used it about three years ago for 6 months and it was a big waste of time, my dog even got a hot spot and had to have her but shaved and a cone head! My vet recommended Promeris and I've used it for the last two years with great results, no itching, scratching, biting, etc...all problems gone and a nice smooth coat of hair as well.

Now what I was wandering was if there is anything on the market just like Promeris? I don't want to go to a vet right now, and I know there are a few vet's on here so please can you recommend something other then Frontline which just doesn't work for me? I was thinking K9 Advantix, but even on petmeds that's got a 3.6 rating out of 5...and frontline has an even lower rating....how's this Revolution stuff? Looks a bit more expensive, but if it works it works.

Frontline never worked for me either. If it's fleas you're worried about I've had good luck with Comfortis. Never used Advantix.

I hated Promeris.. made Piper all lethargic and just "blah" acting.

I use Advantix on my guys, every 6-8wks. in the warmer months. Works great here.
