If it works out I'm going to be getting a foster dog tomorrow. A shelter (I call it that loosely) was left abandoned not far from where I live, at least 42 animals starved to death and about 200+ cats and dogs need foster homes. I don't know whether they'll let me have a foster or not because I plan on keeping the dog outside... but I want to help out.

If I end up getting the dog it'll be my first "real" foster... I'm wondering, once I get the dog healthy again, what are some good ways to advertise it? Besides PetFinder, I mean. Also, anyone know where I can get a cheap Adopt Me collar? It doesn't have to be sturdy at all, I'll have it clipped to a back-up, I just want it so that when I go places with the dog, the message is out there...
