First off Merry Christmas everyone. Hope everyone day was good.

My day was going great until I was at the store getting bags of ice for my mom. I was putting the ice in the trunk of the car I had Piper in the backseat all she was doing was sticking her head out the window. This blond woman just walked out of no where right up to Piper and started to pet her. Piper NEVER did bark. So I did not know the lady was walking over towards us.

This lady walks up and starts to pet Piper and this is how the conversation went.

Her: Your dog is gorgeous, Is it a boy or girl? Me: Thanks, it's a Girl. Her: Ok, How old is she? What is her breed?
Me: She is a year old and she is APBT. The moment this woman heard Pit bull she flips out and starts to yell at me saying, You should have told me she was a Pit bull before I started to pet her she could have ripped my face off. (Piper wasn't even near her face at all) I said I didn't even know you were over here until you said something. she goes you should have a sign on your car saying that you have a Pit bull inside your car so people like me don't get attacked by that beast of a dog. I should call the cops on you and tell them your dog was trying to attack me. I said go right ahead and call them I can tell you now that is a bunch of bull shit and a very stupid thing to say Because you are the one who choose to walk up to a dog you don't know and started petting it with out asking the owner for permission.

I stopped talking to her and just got in the car and went home. I can not believe how stupid this woman was.

O.O wow! Seriously, who just walks up to a dog and starts petting it!? Especially one in its vehicle, since a lot of dogs tend to take offense to that!?

Sadly, it's not the first time I've heard of it happening. Being a small ranch town, a lot of trucks with ranch dogs in the back are in parking lots here. Some lady who *must* have been from out of town (by the look of her fancy clothes and car) went to pet a cattle dog laying on a flatbed parked next to my truck one day... I warned her against it, and she said, "Is it your dog?" and when I said no, but a lot of stock dogs don't like strangers approaching their vehicles she just got snooty and said, "It's not YOUR dog, so don't worry about it!"... Sure enough, you could see the dogs hackles start to rise the closer she got... within two feet of the truck, the dog jumped on snarling and barking at her. I just rolled my eyes and laughed, while she shot me a dirty look and walked away. People are so stupid​, I can't fathom it!

Yea, She acted like it was my fault. I started to get so mad. I was thinking how did Piper go from being a gorgeous dog to being a beast in a matter of 2 seconds. I wanted to cuss this woman out so bad but I thought to myself this is not a good time or place to be fighting with this woman in the middle of the parking lot in front of all these people so I stayed calm and just walked away.

See If i would have known she was just going to walk over I would have said something but I didnt know she was any where near me. Piper didn't make a sound and that suprised me to because she normally bark at people looking at her or walking over to her.

That's crazy.... But not really, the more I live the more I realize how dumb most people are. I'm sorry you went through that. I get upset over smaller things like that, like an old guy on my street, one minute he compliments the dog, the next, "it's not going to maul me right" and i just laugh it off, "no of course not, please don't believe all the media." but thats good you kept your head. had it of been me, i would of done the same as you, just simply stated the facts, but i KNOW my man would of been cussing the woman out. In a way it's like, what if someone came up to you said "oh your kid is cute and pinch it's cheek or some stupid shit like get close to it's face(which I HATE) and then you say "the kids got a cold" and the person yells "i'll sue you if i get sick!" lol, yes, it's as dumb as that friggin sounds. people are full of shit. they need to AT LEAST ask permission, hell, too bad we can't fine people for touching our pets and children with out it! lol..

I don't know if it's where I live or the fact that I don't come off as approachable to some. But these types of comments and situations don't happen to me. I only get positive feed back, when people have an issue they move out the way and or cross the street when they see mine but they don't say anything. I glad they don't but some of the threads I've read people are just ridiculous with it. I've heard of a couple situations with my sister and her family since they got Gucci, with them some times it's understandable. But,.. I just don't get it.

If somebody's ol healer or collie dog gets a piece of somebody's hand the first question is not usually "Why did the dog bite?" but "What was your hand doing in the back of my pickup where he could reach it?"

yea and guess what I went back to the same store today but this time I had taken Piper out of the car and was walking her in the little field next to the store and the car so she could use the bath room. While my mom was in the store.

The same woman showed up out of no where again and this time she had like 4 other people with her and she said to me you need to put that thing back in your car and you should have a muzzle on it so it wont attack someone else walking to there car and I was like attack someone else? When has she attacked someone? The lady goes Remember yesterday she tried to attack me. At this point I was so pissed and I had put Piper back in the car and looked at this woman and went you need to just walk away before you make yourself look even more stupid than you already are.

She walked away and two of the people with her had told me that she told them that My dog tried to attack her yesterday while she was walking to her car and that Piper came really close to ripping her leg off her body and mean while Piper is hanging her head out the window and the two people were petting her while they are telling me that she also told them my dog was a vicious beast.

They told me that the woman is always causing problems every time she see any type of dog bully breed.

Smartest thing I have heard in a while was from a crackhead. Literally. I was at a friends house, his crackhead friend decided to sneak in the house and scare us. He put his hoodie up over his face and pulled his hands in the sleeves, cracks open the door, sneaks one covered hand in, the resident dog goes for him before any of us knew he was there and gives him a nip. When everything settled down he actually said "My fault. I shouldn't have been trying to cover up and sneak into a house with a dog."

Act shady or stupid, get bit. Duh.

But, yeah, had it just been her starting shit again alone I would have beat her ass and told her if she called the cops I would be out on bail within hours and then hunt her down to break a few bones for running her mouth and then being such a puss she called the cops.
