I'd be curious what kind of tie out they have him on, and if it's durable enough to hold him. Most people don't have their dogs on a good tie out. I was feeding my neighbors dogs a couple of months back, and her AmStaff or whatever he is, was standing there getting loving from me and snapped the swivel his chain was attached to. I ended up just chaining him to the Stillwater collar that I had given her. I know the collar will hold up to the dog, but that swivel (which I had also bought her so his chain wouldn't be constantly kinked) only lasted about 6ish months.

The dog is on a thick chain but the chain is tied to their flimsy railing that is around their porch.
