Default let the names begin!
So we are trying to rename Diesel. Pookie advised me to treat him as a stray dog with no name, so we are. But we are having a heck of a time figuring out what to call him!!!

I've noticed I think 3 Diesels on here already... and my Diesel is way too unique to have such a common name and it really just doesn't fit him. He is goofy, a total lap dog, loves to wrestle and play, he sleeps with his paws over his nose and ALWAYS dreams vocally, he fights with his food dish, LOVES to swim more than any duck, he stalks the vacuum closet, he is curious about EVERYTHING. literally...etc etc etc.

We have tried, by try I mean I look at him and say the name to see how it feels lol... not sure I've found anything I feel really fits/sticks.

Butters [yes like southpark]
Myson [unique and matches Maci]
Flea [sparking from our latest outbreak]
Trigger
Brock
Hanbone [husband's highschool nickname lol]

Seriously...not feelin' em.
Maybe ya'll could help and through some ideas my way!
We'd like something tuff and manly but nothing stupid like Killer.
We like movies like 300, Troy, Immortals etc Roman and Greek names. Haven't tried any though.
We like hawai'ian names [husband and I met there.] but any I've thought of sound to prissy/girly.

Anyways... thanks in advance! My goal is to pick a name in the next week and stick to it so he can start learning it!

If he is the one with the ears pointed up in your profile pic, he reminds me of Batty (from the disney movie - Fern Gully). And it seems like it would fit is personality! Good luck!

Apollo
Poseiden

(Norse)

But still he looks like a Mason to me

Reuben, bane, dimitri, huey, Dylan, bully, justice, akira. Oh and I totally agree diesel is pretty rubbish, my boy was called it already and at 6months we thought it was too old to change it. We normally call him dizzle instead

Marlin is pretty cool. How about Sid? I tried to get Jailbait to name his dog that, but he wouldn't.

Are there any Greek/Roman names that start with M?

Morpheus and Mars, that I can think of off the top of my head.

In keeping with the "M" theme, Maximus is a pretty cool Marvel character and is a Roman name.
