Default "OFF THE CHAIN" - Documentary on Dog Fighting and the APBT
Hey Guys,

Recently found a Doco called "OFF THE CHAIN" its a low budget doco based on the history of Dog fighting, and the breed "American Pitbull Terrier"

Here is the torrent link i downloaded it from; http://www.torrentreactor.net/torren...about-pitbulls

If your wary about torrents let me know and i may upload to rapidshare for you or a alternate.

Be warned though; Does contain highly offensive and sensitive footage of Dog fights.

Discuss your opinions on this film, or whether you have seen it before.

you can find it on youtube as well.... i`ve seen it before and thought it was one dimensional. I also thought it had a agenda behind it, by the way it portrayed owners and the breed in a bad light, especially the use of the typical gangsta stereotype "breeder " who talked constantly about how much cash his "Lil black bitch" was going to make him. He was the only person who they used for a insight into game dogs apart for law enforcement and trainers, he was far from the ideal candadate ,but i suppose it paid off for him and helped to reinforce the message they wanted to send out.

If this is the same "off the chain" i watched it is a disgusting doc that should
have never been made. I will not deny my dogs past but the fact that everyday
all of us fight to own these dogs this bs just sets us back more and more. and
the part where the guy electrocuted the dog will forever be stuck in my head
call me a baby but i had nightmares for weeks because of some of the stuff in
that doc. Yes it had historical info in it but the average person watching that
probably couldn't remember one good thing said about the APBT since some much
violence was shown.

That documentary is complete bull. It's a terribly inaccurate representation of what true dogmen were (and sometimes still are) all about. It's not historical. It's playing up to what the media and animal rights activists want to portray the realm of dogfighting as. The truth is, it's a bloody affair, sure, but the dogmen who created this breed were never as cruel and disgusting as this documentary makes people believe. NOT good for education. Just more for those trying to push BSL to use against us.

How the American Pitbull terrier came to be.

It doesn't contain shit for historical information. What it contains is thug ass retards fighting dogs in their basement like the stupid fucks they are. Not only is this POS "documentary" (oh and that term should be used very loosely) useless, but it's full of half truths, stupid bullshit, and everything you DON'T want people to believe about our breed.

This ignorant ass video is easily summed up in one word........GARBAGE!

Hope you all can get my point.

Oh one more thing. It's only been discussed about 20 times on here if you knew how to use the search feature.

And wasn't it funded by the HSUS?
Its still a bullshit video made for people who do not know jack shit about the breed or dog fighting/matching.

I've seen the video and thought it was complete garbage. It depicts doggers in a very bad light. I was kinda being sarcastic when I asked what historical info.

I agree w/ Boogie, it's total shit. There's some historical info in the first 5 minutes about how they came from bull baiting dogs, the rest is trash.
a good documentary is Pit Bull Carnival
