Other than the cash, did you make a police report and call any credit card or bank card issuers to let them know your wallet was stolen?

My ex had his wallet stolen and didn't make a report because he had nothing in it but ID and his SS card. A year later we got hit with a $700 electricity bill. Apparently, the people who stole the wallet used his name and SS number to get their power turned on. We tried to prove it wasn't us and it was the result of a stolen wallet, but with no police report they wouldn't do anything.

Eh the only thing in it was cash and appointment cards, I had the wife's bank card in my pocket, I'.D in the g-box.
There is nothing the local pd can do so I didn't bother with them.
I ended up getting up enough to get to the show now I am just waiting on the wife to fuck it up for me.

Cool. Glad there was nothing really important in there. Here's hoping you can keep the wife occupied until show day. Although, as a wife and mother and dog owner, I'd be freakin thrilled if the hubby wanted to take the kids and a dog to a show and leave me to relax for a day. "Here, honey, lemme pack the crate and lunches for you guys. Bye, now!"

Oh I wouldn't be taking all of the kids, just the oldest one, the middle one is a pain in the ass and the youngest one wouldn't last that long before she melted down

I am so sorry to hear that. My dog and my kids would leave with anyone who offered them better snack than I have and offer to pay for them with my money from the wallet I left in the car. Hope it all works out.
