In my head all I can hear is the way the commercial says "Redddd Robin!" Only instead of Robin it's Rottie...

I need sleep I think.

LMFAO! Oh my god, this is going to be stuck in my head for DAYS!

There ARE long haired Rottweilers. But I don't know about the red part.

I have seen long haired rotties I heard they were mixed breed to.. But I know that they can't be red I even looked up to see and it says they have to be black and tan or as the one called it black and rust

Were you looking at the AKC standard? They screw everything up lol

Long coated purebred rotties DO occur. The coat isn't a full coat like a GSD or anything... but it's got some fluff to it.

I just looked into it, and purebred red rottweilers are rare and usually the result of HEAVY inbreeding to bring out a waaaay back, recessive trait... but they DO occur. The breed used to have a lot of colour variation, when working ability was more important than colour. But, of course, someone somewhere decided to narrow it down... A LOT. lol

everything i found said that its either a genetic effect from inbreeding or its a mix breed.. and with that person the reason i decided to go into the it was mixed.. they guy had no papers, said on parent that he saw that was a rottie was super narrow with a long face and red while the other was large and black but they were both the tri look (sounds like the one was a red dobbie to me) and he wanted at first $500

Oh, I am SURE the pup from that ad wasn't a purebred Rottie! The red ones, from what I read, are like... 1 in 10,000 or more.

He was a cute lil bugger though... lol

I think the long haired rotties are cute! lol

Yeah, $500 for an unpapered, unproven mutt is quite a lot. And I say it like that, because I know of SOME "mutts" that are hunting bred crosses or something like that, from proven parents, that go for that much... but for just some pet dog, NO WAY!

i mean for example if i was into hunting and lived in arkansas mountains as long as the dog was breed from good hunting lines a unpapered mutt $500 ok fine.. for a dog that is just gunna lay around my house unpapered mutt $200 tops.. papered $750 (like vi) and a papered dog that proven and i was going to show the skies the limit if i had it and i wanted it $15,000 if i had to
