I have seen long haired rotties I heard they were mixed breed to.. But I know that they can't be red I even looked up to see and it says they have to be black and tan or as the one called it black and rust
---------- Post added at 07:43 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:42 PM ---------- In my head all I can hear is the way the commercial says "Redddd Robin!" Only instead of Robin it's Rottie...I need sleep I think. |

But I know that they can't be red I even looked up to see and it says they have to be black and tan or as the one called it black and rust Were you looking at the AKC standard? They screw everything up lol Long coated purebred rotties DO occur. The coat isn't a full coat like a GSD or anything... but it's got some fluff to it. I just looked into it, and purebred red rottweilers are rare and usually the result of HEAVY inbreeding to bring out a waaaay back, recessive trait... but they DO occur. The breed used to have a lot of colour variation, when working ability was more important than colour. But, of course, someone somewhere decided to narrow it down... A LOT. lol |

everything i found said that its either a genetic effect from inbreeding or its a mix breed.. and with that person the reason i decided to go into the it was mixed.. they guy had no papers, said on parent that he saw that was a rottie was super narrow with a long face and red while the other was large and black but they were both the tri look (sounds like the one was a red dobbie to me) and he wanted at first $500
