Default The Stealthy Seat Thief!!
Oh Lucy.

I'm sitting in the recliner chair (also known as the Princess Chair, as it's Lucy's favorite).

I lean forward to grab something off the coffee table.

I lean back, and the bitch is sitting behind me! I didn't even notice her climbing up.

When sharing any kind of sitting area with the dog... This is called the Amoeba Effect. You move, they move in. You move back, you're too late.

Ha, my cats are the same way! I fully expect when Jasmine is old enough to get up on the couch by herself that she will do the same thing. Literally takes nanoseconds for the cats. Thieves!

I think this is our future with Moonshine. He's already taken to sitting on the lawn chairs. If it's raining and you take him outside, he'll run into the shed... you'll hear him whining and inside he's sitting on the lawn chair like a person looking at you like he's wondering what the hell you're doing out in the rain!

Does she look at you like "What? I've been here all along, hadn't you noticed"?

She gave me the "Hey man, there's room, scooch your ass over!" look.

I have a crappy back. I actually like it when the dogs curl behind me. Who needs a heating pad?

Peyton does this all the time, especially at night. If I get up in the middle of the night to go pee and come back to bed, he's curled up right in the middle of the bed, head on the pillows, snoring his ass off. And then he gets extremely dramatic when you move him. Sad face, lots of huffing and puffing and becoming dead weight so it's extremely difficult to move him. haha.

Oh gaud... I hate that dead weight thing! Tank will TOTALLY fake sleeping... no freakin joke, he'll "fake snore" with his eyes WIDE open and when you try to push him over, he's suddenly 8000 pounds!

This is Harley exactly. My only way to move him is to roll him And he's recently learned to pull his hind leg under his belly to brace himsef so I can't roll him over. Brat ass dog lol. He only does it when I'm tired though. When I'm up he usually doesn't bother stealing my seat since he knows Ill win even if it means resorting to kicking him off to get my spot back. Lol I always win.

All three of our dogs always try and be on the back of your shoulders when your sitting it is fine with the mini doxie and chi but violet is about 50 pounds and some how gets all her weight literally on you instead of on the couch like the other two

I went to the basement to sleep on the couch because of the snoring my husband and Ike were doing. I decided to let Renee out of the crate to sleep with me. I put down my pillows, grabbed a blanket, turned and saw

I swear she leaps to the nearest bed and/or pillow and falls asleep as soon as she lands because she is counting on cute to keep me from moving her.

Once I fight for a bit of bed or couch space between all the dogs, I know it's going to be gone when I get back. It's like poking some jelly substance... if you remove your finger, the rest of the jelly stuff just moves right back in and it's like there was never anything else there. My dogs are that jelly stuff! LOL

Let me get up in the middle of the night, or get up first thing in the morning; there will be a white blob sprawled out dead center on my bed. He'll even wake out of a dead sleep to do it. I usually just pick him up and move him back to his own which usually results in five minutes of huffing, puffing, groaning and dramatic sighing.
