She will be my new addition to the house. Pizza is my new room mate's dog, and I'm caring for her/integrating her into the household until next week when her owner moves in.

She's an interesting dog. The shelter she's from claims she's a pit bull/whippet mix. I'm just glad she's been around my dogs since she was a pup and the re-introduction went well, aside from Ethel trying to eat her.

And I'm happy to have a room mate with a dog who takes their dog's care as seriously as I do. Room mate is excited to "teach her dog to be a pit bull" (her words). I'm happy to have a walking/ dog working buddy.

I'm hopeful. The roomie is also a fan of cooking, cleaning and manual labor (which will come in handy once the ground thaws and I start working on fixing up the yard and remodeling).

Ethel was such a bitch. And she's normally my good one too.

I'm just glad she relies more on her intimidating size than she does her teeth.

In fairness to Ethel, maybe you guys should change the dog's name.

I mean think about it, all the constant yelling of "Here Pizza"!, "No Pizza"! "Down Pizza"...

Poor Ethel is probably salivating thinking..."It doesn't look like the pepperoni version....but maybe it tastes the same!!!""
