Default Learning to be a Pit Bull
A few days ago I told my husband that Renee is learning to be a Pit Bull. He says "How so?" and I said
"Because she is always by my side and she does her best to make me feel better when I am sad and sick of the bullshit." I'd had a rough day.

Last night, Renee slept with us. This morning, my husband says "Yeah, Renee is learning to be a Pit Bull."

I said "Really? How so?"

He says "She stole the covers and spent the night with her feet digging into my back. Every time I tried to move she scooted closer to me."

Hahahahahaha. Omg. Perfect description of life with Lily.
Renee is definitely learning to be a pit bull.

Haha yep I get the same treatment from my dogs. They sleep in between my hubby and I and throughout the night they have to stretch. The nails OUCH! 120 extra pounds in bed and 8 brutal paws. But I will not complain because I love them sleeping with us. I wouldnt have it any other way. Well Id like a few more inches to roll over.

I am really hoping that since she is only 4 months old I will be able to teach her to sleep under the covers and at the foot of the bed. Of course, this did not work with the other 3 dogs, but hope springs eternal. Rita is the worst. She steals covers, pillow space and likes to put her feet in my husbands back to boot!

Also, now that we have 4 dogs we are doing a crate and rotate. Not because of DA but because we only have a queen size bed and there simply isn't room. 2 dogs in bed, 2 in crate. Rotate the next night. I will let all of them sleep in bed the nights my husband is snoring, though. Because I will be on the couch and prefer to have the snoring and farting contained in one room.

Most of the times my one sleeps at the bottom of the bed. Thank goodness cause she is the 70pounder. But there are times when she wants to sleep by our heads and she will squeeze between us and the other dog. Than I get a lil frustrated.

Onyx does all of the above. Her favorite way to sleep on the bed is in the middle sideways, or in between my legs. 70 extra pounds between my legs is not comfortable!

Sounds like my boy. Every time I adjust while I'm sleeping my boy ends up snuggling closer to me, till I eventually wake up and I'm on the very edge of the bed and my boy is hoggin all the rest. :-p

Funny story though, one time my boy was on the edge and rolled off. It woke me up when it happened. I laughed so hard, he just had a puzzled look on his face like, "what just happened".

I love when Ike does that on top of the covers. Go ahead, try to turn over. I actually threw out my back in my sleep trying. The top half moved, the bottom half didn't. Woke up in agony and Ike looked at me all bleary eyed like he was pissed at me for disturbing him.

I haven't torn out my back yet *knocks on wood*, but Onyx will NOT budge when I attempt to move. The only thing that moves is her big rear rising from me moving my legs. Then I get the usual pffft/grunt noise and off to sleep she goes.

Now she is sleeping in the cage, I like my freedom while sleeping!
