Default PediPaw Nail trimmer
My grandpa just gave me one of the pedipaws for my dog basically it was something he got for his dog and never used and said basically if Sasha will let me do it I could have it, if not sell it.

So my question is:

I don't want her to be scared of it. What are you suggestions for me to get her used to it. So she doesn't fear it.

Another question:
I'm planning to give her a bath tonight. Should I do her nails before or after her bath?

And 3rd:
Any of you used this product before? What was your experience and your overall opinion of it?

Normally we just take her to petco and have them trim her nails so this is a new experience. Thank you for all your help!!!

get a dremmel they work, that will most likely not be strong enough to keep the motor running while your trying to grind

I use one on my cats. My mom gave it to me. The cats have no issue with it. But I've never tried it on the dog, mostly because she's at the vet so dang much and they trim her nails for me. If we can ever go three weeks without seeing the vet (I'd be happy with 3days right now) I plan to try it on her. I really have no useful advice to help you. AlL I can say is it is easier for me with the cats than trying to clip them. I inevitably cut one to short and that doesn't happen with the pedi-paws

Don't even try to use it.. those things are pieces of crap. My dad bought one just for the heck of it (it was only $10) and I couldn't even file my CATS nails with it unless I wanted to sit there for 5min. to file one nail, couldn't imagine it'd do anything with the dogs!

If you want to use a dremel, just go to Walmart or Home Depot and get one. We have a cordless Dremel brand one and I love it.

Thanks guys. She totally flipped out over the noise it made. It didn't do squat though on the two nails I attempted. I'm going to go ahead and try to sell it for him in the upcoming yard sale

It's so weird, I had one for a couple of years (impulse buy). It actually worked pretty well, since all I needed it for was to take down rough/jagged edges. I went to use it the other day, but I can find the replacement heads.

SBT, just try a nail file. It's what I've been using since I couldn't find the replacement heads for my Pedipaws thing.

My Mom uses a nail file on her dogs, she does it after their baths because the nails are softer
