Okay, So my neighbor has a pitbull named Paris. Paris is highly DA. They live right next door and we get along smoothly. We moved in, Steve (the owner) introduces himself and kindly tells us about Paris being DA and yada yada yada. I always see Steve walking Paris. We don't have fenced in yards, so he walks his dog on a leash to pee, same here. It's out of respect for everyone. But there are two neighbors in question who let their dogs off leash and run around the neighborhood. My dane had the one girls yorkie in her mouth.. but that's a story for a different day. Just some back information.
I went over Steve's last night for some drinks with him and another neighbor Logan. I haven't seen Paris in weeks so I ask steve, where she is. He was walking Paris up the street on a normal walk and our neighbor let their English Bulldog puppy out the door and ran up to Paris, Steve picked Paris up off the ground to try and get her out of the situation, but she wiggled free and killed the Bulldog puppy. Now the bulldog neighbors are trying to sue Steve for damages to get back the 2000 they paid for the dog, and they want Paris euthanized. I feel like this is not Steve's fault at all.. He always has control over Paris, She was on a leash and their dog was roaming free. Thoughts on this? |
