Okay, as some of you know I Hate where I live. Lately it's been rediclous! Another tendent in little duplex type thing moved out and left his place DESTROYED, we are talking he had two dogs and like 5 ferrets who all just went in the house as they pleased and he never cleaned up after them...when they moved out the place was just NASTY! since then the guys next door have been complaining about our dogs. It started with well the people downstairs keep thier dogs locked up during the day and it is making a clothes stink (still lost as to how that even worked). So we were told we could no longer crate our dogs when we are not home. That moved to well now the dogs are scaring us when we walk past the window. SO we were told we had to build a dog run and leave the dogs outside, that they were no longer allowed inside during the day. We complied and did that. NOW they are complaining that the dogs bark when people walk by and they are peeing outside.....SO tell me what would you do if you could not move and had neighbors who because they want to move in to your apartment are complaining no matter what you do. O and did I mention since I live in a hispanic complex, if we complain about the people upstairs we are simply told there is nothing she can do about it....apperently the guys up stairs never mean to do anything wrong...like steal my underwear.
Sorry the HUGE paragraph....For some reason it won't let me put a space in between them :/ |

Anybody that complains about a dog peeing outside is just looking for an excuse to bitch. Assuming you are a woman, I would have the nasty bastard that stole your underwear up on some kind of stalking charges or whatever you can get because that's just creepy. (If you're a dude I'd never leave the house unarmed 'cause you got some crazy "Pulp Fiction", "Deliverance" kinda thing going on) Tell the cops the mean people upstairs harass you all the time and steal your clothing and it's starting to freak you out. A visit from the law might get them to back off. Maybe you will have enough for some kind of restraining order.

Go to the management. You've clearly done everything you can to make your neighbors STFU, and now they're being bitches for nothing. I mean what the fuck do they expect if they aren't happy about the dogs being crated during the day, then don't like them loose in the house and barking or whatever, and don't like that they're outside barking while you're gone and peeing out there. The whole point of crating dogs is so they don't do the things the retards are bitching about.
Maybe get an air purifier and show them the receipt so there's no "dog smell", and tell the neighbors to fuck off. |

Yeah, Sadly Robin I have been to management MANY times. I live in a hispanic run and mostly inhabited little duplex. When I told her about them going through my underwear she simply said "oh he must have not known it was not his" Like WTF seriously? I'm pretty sure he does not wear women's underwear...Well maybe.
I hopefully will be getting a new job soon with more pay and can leave this damned place! |

I think many of us have had our share of places we've absolutely hated to live. I think every rental be it an apartment, house, duplex, townhome. Whatever I think they all have their issues in one form or another.
However, if management won't do anything. Perhaps call in city codes? Maybe they can find something wrong with the place. Might atleast get you out of your lease. You say the one apartment was destroyed. A friend of mine had to do that over a leaky roof that they were unwilling to fix where she lived. Codes came out and found a butt load of mold in the entire building. Mold Got into the ventilation. She was able to get out of her lease. Her lawyer took the case probono What did the cops do about the person that broke into your place? Now did your lease agreement express that the dogs could be inside? If so, Management is violating the lease agreement by making you keep them outside. So you could probably get out of the lease. Just a thought. ---------- Post added at 11:07 AM ---------- Previous post was at 11:02 AM ---------- If I were you I'd consult a lawyer and try to get out |

I don't have money to move. Her lease states no pets but then she hand wrote on both copies we could have 3 dogs. Nothing else Just says "3 dogs okay".
HAHAHAHA....nothing done about our window...the ppls upstairs admitted to "accidentally" kicking a rock in the window. My landlord boarded it up and said when he can get a new window he can. My dogs are at least happier outside but I hate leaving them out when I can't watch them. That and they BOTH are VERY dirty and dusty when they come inside it makes for the house to be dirty and muddy. |
