Well,I don't anything about that particular registry, but if you're going through it because no other ones will register your dogs I'd have to say no.

Wow they are SOOO legit

"Maybe you own a pure bred American Pit Bull Terrier that has somehow fallen out of the registration process and you wish to bring it back and show your pride as a Pit Bull owner.Maybe you wish to add value through registration.Well the wait is over. Now you can register your Pit Bull and begin taking advantage of the many unparalleled benefits the American Pit Bull Registry ( APBR ) has to offer.Whether you know your Pit Bull's history or not, whether you are registered elsewhere or not, it all comes down to just one question: Is your dog a pure Pit Bull? If so, then the American Pit Bull Registry is the right registry for you."

Technically they are a legitimate registry business wise, but being a legitimate registry as compared to the ADBA,BFKC,UKC, then no they are not, I registered a dog with them just to see what they were about, after 10 weeks I was sent a piece of cardstock with their logo printed on it,the name of the dog and the really un-reasonably long registration number, the pedigree was pretty much the same.
If its money you are looking to waste on a piece of paper then for $10.00 I will send you a registration certificate and a pedigree within a week. I am more reliable and more legitimate than APBR will ever be. With me you know where your money is going -(to pay my college tuition).

Generally, you register your pups through whatever registry their parents are with. If they weren't with the same registry, you're screwed. If you were looking to register to compete in sports then you can get limited registration to do so.

The AKC has never registered Pit Bulls. They only register Am Staffs. The UKC registers Pit Bulls, but they stopped single registration. You can still register a dog with them if the parents and the litter was registered through them, though.

Usually you register the pups through the same registry as the parents

In a WAY, AKC DID register Pit Bulls back in 1936.....all those original dogs which were registered with AKC and THEN had their name changed to "American Staffordshire Terrier" -- FIRST had UKC papers with the breed name "American Pit Bull Terrier" on them....

Didn't you say your pups were rescues? If you don't have the info on parents chances are you won't be able to register the pups

Oh, and by the way...those original dogs REMAINED American Pit Bull Terriers in UKC and if the UKC papers were kept up on any AKC litters, the pups were ALSO American Pit Bull Terriers in UKC...

My pups are not from a shelter, they are from a breeder. I am dumb and just programed his number in my phone Instead of writing it down and of course had issues with the phone had to clear all of my memory and lost all my contacts. He said that the parents did have papers, being a new dog owner im guessing that "papers" means registration. ?

If he didn't register the litter, and you didn't get the paperwork when you picked up the pups, odds are you're SOL unless you can just stop in at his house.

OP, if you didn't get the papers from the breeder at the time I'm going out on a limb and saying they might not even exist. A reputable breeder will send you home with what you need for registry. A smart buyer will see those papers before purchasing the pups.

Yea ty all when we got our babies I really wasnt to concerned about papers it didnt even cross my mind until everyone that saw them asked us if we had papers. The guy I bought them from was needing to rehome them quickly cause sadly there momma was killed when they were 4 weeks old and him and his wife were left nursing 8 babies. Its truly not to much of a concern of mine anymore, was just curious.
