I hate Subways anyways, if I want a sandwich I get Jimmy Johns.

Only if it's made from real curs..
Good one!

Subway took a gamble; they were given the list of nominees for the award prior to being a part of it. They knew MV was a candidate. It may seem trivial to some but I'm choosing to boycott.

What's more "lame" choosing not to purchase from a place or complaining about the people who choose not to purchase from that place?
You will find more people on this forum that are sick and tired of hearing about Vick and his escapdes more so than other areas. We feel, on this forum, he did his time and to continue to talk hate about him and boycott any corporations that have an ounce of anything to do with him is fruitless.

I wonder how many of the people boycotting Subway shop at WalMart or other stores that have people making their merchandise for pennies a day while WalMart makes millions from it. We could go on and on. That's like the people that boycotted ALL the sponsors of the NFL because Vick was reinstated. There are bigger fish to fry and more important things to worry about.
Been boycotting WalMart for a few yrs cuz I friggin hate that place lol.
They treat their employees like shit... make millions off of what you already mentioned, wipe lil' buisnesses out and don't care.
In our town we had 1 of 5 drive-ins left with Oregon trail land marks on the property... we already had a WalMart... but no, what do they do.... build a fuckin Super WalMart over the Oregon trail land marks and take out the drive in despite the thousands of people who rallied against it. I HATE that place.

Subway, I love Subway

I do have to admit that we boycotted BK when that dumbass comercial came out, "Rottweilers and pitbulls, doing what they do best" as both dogs are hanging from the mail mans arms (niether were the 'breeds' they said they were)..... that boycott ended when they stopped showing the commercial and brought the angry whoppers back lol.

Now a bunch of my FB friends are boycotting Nike, because they resigned Vick. I swear.. If I hear one more thing about this guy, I'm going to explode. I'm not okay with what he did, but to continue to dwell on it is just pointless.. I have better things to do with my time.. like eat Subway

Default Boycotting Subway?
Now people are boycotting Subway because of Michael Vick? What is next?

http://www.thepetitionsite.com/2/boy...et-award-back/

According to Subway they are not responsible for the decisionmaking of the award, they are simply a sponsor to the awards.

I go to Subway on a regular basis before I go to work and by my son and I a sub. Not boycotting it based on this reason.

If we look hard enough we could find plenty of establishments to boycott. People are working themselves up into a frenzy and now saying Michael Vick will be doing commercials for Subway. Jesus, give it a break already!

Vick might be a moron..but why on earth bother boycotting a restaurant, unless of course they install fight pits and build snarling monuments lol.

There is a very large segment of the "pit bull" owning population* that constantly needs something to campaign for or against in the name of these dogs. As opposed to actually looking after their own mutts.

(Yes, I realize other folks are known to participate in silly boycotts. But this kinda stuff doesn't pop up on my Chihuahua forum).
