Default prob/solution
Hello everyone,

I have to do a problem/solution paper and a persuasive speech for 2 of my college classes. I want to do it about pit bulls and the stigma surrounding the breed or something along those lines, and then try to persuade people that they are very loving dogs. I was hoping you all could help me out. I have to figure out the problem and have evidence that it is a problem and then I need 2 solutions on how to fix the problem. Any input would be greatly appreciated Thank u!

Some problems to go off of:

Problem 1 - The general public not knowing the difference between 'pitbulls' and American Pit Bull Terriers.
'Pitbull'- any dog that's short coated, wide mouthed, broad headed, and/or muscular. APBT- an actual registerable breed.

Problem 2 - How the majority of statistics are being based off of 'pitbulls' as opposed to doing statistics on APBTs. Any statistic done on 'pitbulls' is going to be very high and not accurate at all.

Problem 3 - All the myths. How they are more prone to dog aggression... but that doesn't mean they are people aggressive. Locking jaws, swelling brains, etc. etc.

Problem 4 - Stupid people owning bully breeds just to look kool.

Problem 5 - BSL (solution, who knows lol)

I understand you're doing a persuasive paper... but you need to explain how 1.) yes these are awesome, wonderful and nice dogs.... but 2.) they aren't a breed to be owned by just anyone.
