Karma's going to her spay and last set of puppy shots appointment tomorrow morning..... I know it's silly, but I feel so bad about leaving her with these people she doesn't know! I hate thinking about her being scared....lol

Ouch. I hate hearing of puppies being spayed so young

But, you're putting human emotions on a dog... if she's friendly with people, she'll have no problems being surrounded by people babying the "cute puppy" (provided your vet clinic is as friendly as I am used to!)

My pup Nala just got spayed at 6months old a week ago. I was really nervous, but she did just fine!! They said she was the happiest dog they've seen in a while. Came out of surgery wiggling and wanted to love on everyone she saw. I am sure your pup will be fine, and not even know what happened! Good luck!

From my experience of getting my two altered, she won't miss you

They said Henry didn't stop wagging his tale and being a ham for attention and Athena made friends with the one tech as soon as we went in and walked away without looking back. As for the age, some people think it's to young, other's think it's the perfect age so do what you feel is best.
Henry was neutered at 2.5 months. I didn't want to do it quite that young but I got him from a rescue and that was their policy that I had to sign. Athena was spayed at 5 months because a moron accross the street was talking to some mutual aquantances about stealing her for breeding since I was 'to stupid and couldn't see how much money I could make off her pups'.

After he saw the spay stiches he hasn't even asked to pet her which he did daily before.

She'll be fine

Pups bounce back from surgery so much faster than adults. I prefer spaying/neutering them young for that reason.
