being ADBA registered and conforming to the ADBA standard are two completely different things. do you have a link?

I think most people on this site like the 'american pitbull' seeing as its a 'pit bull' forum and all... unless being ADBA suddely makes it something different?

I walking into a lil country store and on the window it said Adba registered pups for sale so I called them and they was 250 bucks so I got one it's 8 weeks and came from champion blood lines and the man had trophies on his dogs he showed them to me and the info on both of his dogs

That should have been a red flag right there. Oh, and it is American Pit Bull Terrier.

pit bulls are a noble breed of dog I have had 3 over the years and now am on my forth. but for someone who has never been around this breed i would suggest getting a bit of guidance to handle the issues that are certainly going to come up eventually.
