It's -27 today without the windchill where I'm at. And we're not going for a walk. I hate it. Winter totally sucks.

its 6 degrees without windchill here...my house sucks and has been at 63 degrees all night (with me trying to get it hotter...stupid crap construction and major drafts) well we don't walk in this weather hehe I would get so sick, I already had to miss work last night due to the snow (could not get the car out of the driveway and my ride was not going to go either so I was stranded at home >.

And actually more like 38 here...but brrrrrrrrrr.....especially for people who aren't used to needing to bundling up and don't have the proper gear....like me.

This is why I have a fenced backyard with a tether, and am building a carpet mill. I knew when I was looking for a house that I was NOT going to be wanting to walk the dogs in a blizzard.
I took Lily on a walk to McDs to pick up a movie the other night (2 mi round trip). She had a fleece sweater and puffy jacket on. She was shivering by the time we got home (it was maybe 20 out).

omG! i know its like -2 out over here and my dogs acted like they were dying...lol but i bundeled them up with 2 sweater each when i took them out for thier morning breaks.
Granted they were super cold because of their paws were too cold.

i dont know what i am going to do with them, since taking them out for a walk is not possible.

It's 11 here right now and I'm unsure what it is for the windchill.

I feel bad that I don't walk Dylan but honestly I'm NOT going out in this cold. Plus there's snow and ice everywhere. Screw that, Dylan can figure out a way to amuse himself, I'm staying inside!

I'll probably end up getting a treed mill for him by next winter to avoid his constant hyperactive state because he doesn't get a lot of exercise >

It's supposed to be -11 and -13 this weekend, not including the windchill factor! At times like these, I'm glad Tegan is a lazy ass just like me in this weather! I have to push her out into the backyard just to relieve herself.
