He is so precious. Just kind of wondering if anyone might have an idea as to what he might be. All the while Sasha is giving me this totally evil look like "if you even consider bringing that runt home I'll kill you". I'm not however considering bringing him home but one of my friends is going to go and see about adopting him today.

He honestly looks a lot like my dog at that age, ears are a bit different and the coat color is darker and he is from what I understand bigger than she was at that age.

He's cute. She said she is on her way down there now.

I'd say Lab mix or maybe Golden mix. His sad little eyes are precious. I hope she gets him!

Anyways it wasn't meant to be. She called me a little bit ago to announce that about an hour ago she adopted a 7 year old Pointer mix from a different shelter. Another dog she had been looking at. She said the connection was there with the Pointer mix and it wasn't with this pup. Either way its a win win situation for a homeless dog and this dog being a puppy well, he will get a home very quickly.

That connection thing is so important. I visited with several dogs at our local shelter and felt nothing. Then I visited with Dylan and it was like love at first sight, and I couldn't be happier with my decision!

You know it is. And when you have that connection its a bond for life. I'm glad she adopted the dog she did. Its so much harder for an older dog to find a home and if you are a little pup in the shelter you are almost, I repeat ALMOST, guarenteed a home. If you are an older dog your chances start to decrease.
