Has anyone used this service? You can set up regular delivery of your pet food. It sounds like a useful service. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with it.

I have never used it but I checked it out and My TOTW will cost me $12.00 more then I am paying now and I am cheap and also normally purchase treats while I am getting the food so I would rather go pick it up myself

I was on there yesterday checking some things out, while checking different food delivery options. But when it comes down to it, its just cheaper for me to go get it myself. Other items aren't bad when you catch online sales and free shipping. But I have yet to find a place that doesn't charge to ship food. That's where the bargain ends. I don't live 2 miles from Petco and Petsmart so its just cheaper for me to get it myself.

Walking there and carrying back a 28 + lb bag, that's a work out in itself.

I feed TOTW too. Their price is about the same for me, but then you have to add the shipping. My problem is that the nearby feed store that carries TOTW is only open like 9-5 during the week and Saturday mornings, but not Sunday (don't know how they make make enough money that way....). Since I work during the day, I have to make sure to get there early on a Saturday, or I can drive like 20 miles to the next nearest place. I've got a Petsmart and a Petco within like 5 miles. I wish they would carry TOTW. Still debating if the convenience is worth the $4.95 shipping cost.

I think it'd only be useful if I lived out in the boonies or far from a feed store. I like going to the pet & feed store...and so does Rigby. We go sometimes just for fun...and end up spending money we shouldn't have. Huh, on second thought, maybe this would save me money.

I think petfooddirect.com is cheaper. They always have 15% off coupons and will email you other deals once you order from them once. I get 44 lb bags of Canidae for $45-$50 shipped.

I looked at petfooddirect.com, they have a lower price for the food (with the coupon). But they charge like $16 for shipping for a 30lb bag whereas petflow.com has a flat rate of $4.95....so it may be the same or a little higher.

That's how I found the nearby place. Same thing, I had no idea they were there. Very cute little shop that is just dog nutrition...it's just their hours that can be a pain. Guess I really just need to set aside one Saturday morning a month...

You could buy a few bags at a time if it's a pain to get there which it sounds like it is.

You might want to try heartypet.com. I use them right now for the food I buy. They not only had the best prices they also have 50% off shipping if you sign up for autoship, which you can adjust at any time. Also, I know there is a coupon code for 50% off shipping that you can put in for your first order too. I believe it's SHIP50, but not 100% sure. If you google it, I'm sure it will come up. Hope this can help you!
