Well fancy that. I recently took Sandi to meet a couple of pups for socialising,( them, not Sandi ) a Huntaway X ( nippy little bugger ) & a, wait for it....
wait for it ..... You guessed it. an Amstaff/mastiff cross, just like the thing in the piccies, cropped ears the lot. Beautiful dog. A bit timid from an abusive start but very responsive to people, friendly & going to be a real heavyweight. Just walking & letting the dogs do their thing all 3 were cool but as soon I started throwing sticks for Sandi the wee pups picked up on her excitement & became nippy. The huntaway, as expected did not relent & had the hard word, the A & M listened the first time & chilled out. Nice dog. Will look tough as nails BUT I think it will be all looks & not particularly dynamic, too heavy, squat & broad. Very keen on rooting my pup but she was coming back while he was still going. |
