correct me if im wrong,but i thought snapping turtles were actually good pets. they describe them as having aggresive behavior,but everytime i try to pick up the ones we have here,they try to run from me..not bite me. ![]() |

Yeah, those are NOT snapping turtles. Snappers are vile and won't hesitate to try to take your face off. I've had to deal with both common snappers and alligator snappers extensively, and I'll take the alligator snapper any day! You're likely thinking of red eared sliders or painted turtles. |
