Default Getting Irie back! What should I do?!
FINALLY! I found a place in the city that will allow Irie. It is a super nice condo (although at this point I was willing to live in a box) owned by a late 20 something lady who I will be living with. She met AND LOVED Irie the moment she laid eyes on her, but then again who wouldnt?!

Now all I have to do is get her re-trained. I have her every few days but the time inbetween seems to have ruined her training. I am trying to think of new training/work to do with Irie. Keep in mind I live in a city so I cant go doing anything crazy. I am probably going to have her carry my groceries, re-learn to turn off lights, re-learn to go/stay on her mat. We also may go back to nosework class and start doing therapy work.

Any other thoughts?

I'd start by refreshing her with the basics and get more complicated from there. I've learned sometimes all it takes is a refresher in the basics and the other stuff just comes back naturally. And if it doesn't you just start over and retrain.

Good luck

congratulations on the new digs! That is an accomplishment in and of itself...one thing though, make sure the landlord gives you permission IN WRITING!!! You don;t want anyone to give you grief or her chnage her mind later on if SHE gets grief (other folks could complain loud and long to her about discrimination and she does have a business to run)

Yea this happened to me several years ago I had my old dog in an apt and the landlord refused to put it in writing that my dog was allowed so I could get him a license MOVED
