2 weeks ago 3 pit bull type dogs were brought in as strays and one of them was very very very sick.
The owner came claimed the dogs and we told her she NEEDED to get that dog to the vet.
a week later 2 of the three who were not sick come in again except this time the two other dogs were sick very very sick we kept them in quarantine and called the owner over and over again and a man who spoke very little English answered saying 'no dogs' and giving us different phone #'s to call, we called those phone numbers and they came up disconnected, So we ended up euthanizing them.

So today the owner calls
'ohh you have my dogs'

We said we had them and explained the whole situation as to why they were euthanized and she says
'oh that's okay i didn't want them any way'.

Which left me completely dumbfounded as to one why would she buy 3 dogs if she didn't want them and 2 how on earth could she not care when these dogs so obviously cared about her?

You should have seen them the first time she came to pick them up, they were barking and yapping for her even before she went into the kennels, they were wagging their tails kissing, and seemed to be very happy loving dogs.


I felt very sad for the dogs, they were sweet animals, but too sick.

Betcha she goes out and gets another dog or two. Didn't you know dogs are disposable? When a couple prove problematic or get sick you can just let AC kill them off and start over until you find perfection.

Oh those poor dogs. I'm glad they were humanely put down and don't have to live with that nut case anymore.
