I just got a call at work from my BF. He said that Socrates had been attacked...by a BIRD ! They were walking down by the water and apparently got too close to their nest because two birds started flapping their wings and chirping frantically at them. My BF went on his way but Socrates was very intrigued by the birds' behavior. As they walked along, the birds followed them, stopping on street signs and branches along the way chirping at them. Then, one swooped down and pecked Socrates right in the ass! He jumped and turned around like "What the hell was that!?" and then just trotted away! My BF said that he really wanted to let him go to let him take care of the bird (because he clearly wanted to) but obviously he wouldn't let him off leash, plus the bird was just protecting his nest lol. When I answered the phone I almost had a heart attack at the word "attacked".
