What books do you recommend on the subject of APBT about the breed and for training?

Books, videos etc I recommended any of leerburgs products. Great training info on working dog. As for breeding I would not recommend a book, go to shows and find a mentor is that is something that you are interested in. Good luck!

I guess it would depend on how serious you are about studying the breed's history, or if you were just looking for training books with pit bull facts.

I am very serious about studying the breeds history. And, learning everything I can about the breed and the best way to train my dog.

That was a great book. I would recommend it to anyone looking to read up on the history of the breed. To the original poster you might be able to get through your local Library. I got it through mine and the book came from the Library of Congress.

I would also say the 5 Richard Stratton books. I own these and still look at them quite often.
