LOL, yeah mine does. I think it has something to do with the fact they put 110% into EVERYTHING they do... including something as simple as the act of drinking water.

Well compared to a lab No bulldogs don't drink a lot. It's the WAY they drink not the amount.

Grimm (GSD) drinks way more water than Gidget (APBT,) but they're both on raw diets which reduces their water intake, too.

I haven't had to fill the water bowl up nearly as much since I started giving the dogs filtered water.

Jake really doesn't seem to drink that much. But then I'm comparing him to my old man Conner, who will drink gallons at a time if allowed.

None of mine drink tons. after a good hard play they will lap a bit but that is to be expected after that they seem to just take 2 breaks a day inside if even to drink.
Now my lab shepard I had as a pre-teen would down water like it was his food

Bugsy drinks tons of water, always walking around the house looking for it, it seems. I give him ice cubes to curve the desire lol. Takes his mind off of looking lol.

Goren drinks a few laps then walks off and lays down then comes back and drinks a little more in 5 mins. he is a very light drinker even after walks and flirtpole and tug and all that stuff, he just does not drink much.

Roxy doesn't know how to drink water lol She'll lap it up and then walk away leaving a nice water trail for me to slip on!

Sinead will guzzle water, but Mick is the one who freaks if the bowl is empty for 2 seconds. Bratty bark, picking the bowl up and throwing it etc. Then, he'll take two sips and wander off after I refill it.

Asshole.

Veronica does not seem to drink allot.

Of course my perception could be skewed because the last 6 years of my Basset Hound's life she had chronic kidney failure and drank like a fish; especially the last couple of years...

My lab/pitt mix puppy drinks tons and tons and tons all day long. Glad to see he is staying hydrated but its irritating because his tiny bladder can only hold so much, so it seems we are going on potty breaks every 30 minutes! *sigh*

My Dixi drinks water by the gallons. Every Pit I have owned has been that way. And for every quart they drink it seems a gallon comes out. So ALOT of potty breaks for you honey.

Wilson & Piper did as puppies, but not so much now. I think all young dogs go through the water fascination phase where they don't have a very good 'thirst meter' and just keep drinking and drinking.
Charlie does this, and I have to tell him to stop or I think he'd just drink the entire bowl.

Now that is damn funny.

Sasha was home alone for a few years when I'd be at work. She always had a full bowl of water before I left but somewhere along the line she figured out if she didn't drink a lot, she didn't have to pee and it was easier to wait for me to get home.

So, come home, she goes out and makes a little flood, then as soon as we're inside she sucks down half the bowl.

She's weird.
